The First Kitchen

Co-founders Maria and James opened Costa Vida's first location on a quiet street in Salt Lake City, serving a small but passionate community of flavor-seekers with handcrafted burritos and vibrant salsas.

2011
The Menu Expands

Following an overwhelming response to our original offerings, we introduced our now-legendary Costa bowls, fresh ceviche, and a rotating seasonal menu that celebrated local harvests and bold coastal influences.

2014
Community Recognition

Costa Vida was named "Best Fresh Casual Dining" by Salt Lake City Food Magazine and received its first sustainability certification for our eco-conscious kitchen practices and local sourcing commitment.

Catering & Events Launch

We expanded beyond our dining room walls, launching our full-service catering arm to bring the Costa Vida experience to weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings across Utah.

Going Digital
